Property Photography Procedures (COVID)

For the health & wellbeing of Tenants, Vendors, Agents, our Staff and all respecting families, the following procedures are required for property photography sessions:

  • Social Distancing: minimum 1.5m distance at all times

  • COVID Questionnaire: to be completed by Vendor/Tennant within 24hrs prior to of our arrival.

  • Preparation: Vendor / Tennant / Agent to prepare property including; turning on all lights/lamps, open internal doors, blinds & curtains, clear bench tops and remove personal items from bathrooms, etc. Photographer will not touch or move any items within the property. (see more property preparation suggestions below).

  • Photoshoot: Vendors / Tenants are to vacate (step outside) property during photoshoot. Allow 60–90mins.

  • Photo Delivery: Photos will be delivered to Agent ’usually’ within 48 Business Hours (depending workload)

  • Privacy: Your privacy is important to us… All photography by Craig Thorne - Property Photography™ is 100% produced locally in the Goulburn Valley. We DO NOT outsource image editing to 3rd party suppliers or overseas editing services. Images of your property are kept confidential throughout the photo and editing process.


COVID Questionnaire:

Property Vendors (owners) / Tenants are required to fill out following COVID questionnaire within 24hr hours prior to photographer arrival

NOTE: For safety for all involved and their families, we ask you answer honestly and we are happy to reschedule property photography if required.

Thank–you for your co-operation in following these procedures. They are purely so we are able to continue providing our quality services while helping protect everyone involved.


Other Information

TIPS: Property Presentation:

Prior to our arrival, we ask the Vendor/Tennant to prepare the property for photography.

The aim in presenting your property is to minimise distractions. We want buyers to focus on each room/area of your property and visualise how they can potentially live and use each space. Removing / ‘decluttering’ any unnecessary items like dishes or kids toys helps create a sense of space.

For best results in presenting your property, we suggest the following;

INTERNAL:

  • All lights & lamps are to be on, including any exterior lights for twilight shoots – REQUIRED

  • Open internal doors, blinds & curtains – REQUIRED (Blinds look best if all at same height e.g. 200mm from top)

  • Kitchen & Bathroom bench-tops are to be clear, clean & tidy – REQUIRED

  • Remove all ‘personal’ items from bathrooms including shower (soaps/shampoo/toothbrushes etc.) – REQUIRED

  • Lounge, Living & Game Rooms and Bedrooms to be neat & tidy. Hide TV remotes, reduce untidy toys, game controllers / leads, etc.

  • Pet food containers and pet items to be removed or hidden (inside & outside)

  • Depersonalise where possible. e.g. Remove items from fridge, noticeboards, bedside tables, desks etc.

    TIP: Stand at the entry to each room and take notice of what is seen. It should present neat & tidy.

EXTERNAL:

  • Lawns & Gardens neat and tidy where possible (this is often the buyer’s first impression).

  • Reduce clutter in & around pergolas, outdoor entertaining & pool areas (we want to show ‘space’)

  • Rubbish / recycling bins hidden wherever possible (place in shed or garage)

  • Pools clean and remove covers and any cleaning equipment & toys. Pool lights on. Pool pumps off.

  • Remove vehicles from driveways / carports (park in a closed garage or 1 house block away)

  • Pet food containers and pet items to be removed or hidden if possible (inside & outside)

  • Pets must be secured for photographer access on day of shoot

The photographer will not handle/move anything. Once property preparation is complete, we will request that the vendor/tenant wait outside of the property while we proceed with the photo shoot (allow 60–90 mins)

If a vendor/tenant is unable to attend the property, an agent or representative of the agency, must be present to carry out the above processes.


PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION: (90-120mins)

Our photographer will arrive at pre-arranged time and confirm that the questionnaire and the ‘REQUIRED’ property preparations have been completed before proceeding. The Vendors/Tenants are to vacate property during the photoshoot which is expected to take 60–90mins to complete.


PRIVACY & PHOTO DELIVERY:

Images of your property are strictly kept confidential during photo & editing process. We DO NOT outsource image editing to 3rd party suppliers or overseas editing services. Photos are 100% produced locally in the Goulburn Valley. Your final photo set will be supplied to your Agent ‘usually’ within 48 business hours which includes exclusive usage rights for your property listing.
